My wedding ceremony and reception are on separate dates. Will this insurance cover me for both events?

Yes. Ceremonies and receptions that are up to 21 days apart are covered as standard. If the gap between the ceremony and reception is more than 21 days, contact our Customer Services team for a quotation - call 0844 573 5975. Lines are open Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am - 1pm.

What level of cover do I need?

The level of cover you need depends upon the size, type and cost of your wedding and reception. To work out the level of cover you need, consider all of the separate costs associated with the event. Take the following into consideration:

  • Cancellation or rearrangement of your wedding
  • Loss or damage of the bride's dress, the groom's outfit, wedding rings, wedding gifts and wedding cakes
  • Failure of all your wedding suppliers (photographers, caterers, hoteliers, chauffeurs, etc)
  • Personal liability insurance in case you're held liable for an accident or injury during the wedding or reception
  • If you're hiring ceremonial swords or marquees, you should consider additional cover for these items
